Very nice to see the 2 kids playing again. Hopefully they play just as good if not better and try to make a play to stay in the lineup. Maybe Marty getting sat for a few will light the fire under him and get him back to playing solid.

The Devils have given the Bruins fits over the years, and I expect that to continue tonight. NJ offensive will need to be very sharp tonight if they want a chance to beat the Bruins. Rask has been magnificent thus far.

I think Rask is in net tonight because the Bruins have 3 days off between games. If only this were the second night of a back to back.

haha At this point I wont be mad if we lose as long as Gelinas and Larsson have great games thats all I care about till the team starts stringing some wins together.

Hopefully both are Gelinas instantly made our team look a whole lot better in one game. Him paired with Larsson really got a lot of us excited about the future. People will come in here and tell us we have no prospects but we Gelinas is a stud Larsson still can be a Stud and Merril looks amazing in albany in his first year. I am more then excited about those 3 D and Boucher hasnt slowed down his point production since making the jump to the AHL. We have lots to be excited about and other fans need to start paying attention to these kids before they come in here blabbering about how we have no good prospects. We dont have many but the few we do have are looking fantastic not to mention Wedgewood is looking like a top prospect again this year.

I've never had concerns about the Devils defensive/Goaltending prospects. How are the prospects at forward? Matteau looks to have a good NHL career ahead of him, and he will certainly mesh into the lineup. What is it like after Lotkionov, Tedenby, Josefson, ect.

Reid Boucher. I am not big on Matteau but I would be more then happy if he proved me wrong. Not to much in the forwards cupboards lol but we got some young guys already playing in the NHL that wont need to be replaced for years.

Luckily the Devils have veteran players who become more attractive at the deadline. Move some out for picks and help rebuild pool of forward prospects

Jagr has been unreal this season so proving everyone wrong who said he didnèt have anything left. Thats the sad thing our best forward so far is almost garunteed to not be here next year either to retirement or deadline deal lol.

He still creates great chances, and he has made a lot of great passes. You could double that assist total if he played with guys who could consistently finish.
